Divine Discipleship for Sisters
Divine Discipleship for Sisters ("DDS") is an intensive Christian discipleship course designed to change the lives of women forever. Deborah Leaner Ministries partners with churches where women desire a more intimate relationship with Christ. Currently, DDS is offered at several churches in the Greater Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, including New Solid Rock Fellowship Church in Baltimore, MD, Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in Crownsville, MD and Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, DC.
There are currently two curriculums under the DDS umbrella: Master Life and New In Him. The Master Life curriculum is a four-part series that focuses on becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ, by mastering the Disciples Cross, the Disciples Personality, the Disciples Victory, and the Disciples Mission. This curriculum is based on the four-part series, MasterLife by Avery T. Willis, Jr.
The New In Him curriculum is also a four-part series, authored by our very own ladies of DLM. This curriculum focuses on becoming New In Him by Knowing Who You Are in Christ, The Power of Prayer, Spiritual Warfare, and Serving God through Journaling.
The DDS program consists of weekly accountability meetings throughout the duration of the discipleship course, four (4) in-depth workshops on various practical and spiritual life issues, a prayer workshop, opportunities to participate in outreach to youth and women in need, and an annual Christmas Gala. Each DDS program culminates with a formal graduation celebrating and acknowledging every woman's "promotion in the Spirit!"
